Love Letters

The Pocket Community Theatre, in celebration with Arts & The Park, presents a live theater performance of “Love Letters”, a Romantic Comedy written by A.R. Gurney and directed by Judy Beard. Andrew and Melissa are childhood friends whose lifelong correspondence begins with birthday party thank-you notes. They continue to exchange letters through college and later, where Andy does well, while Melissa does not. Eventually they do have a brief affair, but it is really too late for both of them. However Andy's last letter makes it clear that they were as close as only true lovers can be.
